We’re bringing together the greatest ink around — and giving these artists the spotlight they deserve. With the incredible talents of our A/V crew, we’ll be blending live video with larger-than-life images of the tattoos being judged, creating an immersive experience like no other.

The audience came to see the most amazing ink, and we’re making that happen. Every detail, every line, every masterpiece will be showcased in stunning clarity. There won’t be a bad seat in the house.

How much does it cost to compete?
$10 for most contests. $15 for Best of Day & Best of Show. There is an addition $5 charge for in person signups

I have a really cool tattoo. Can I enter it in the competition?
We would love to see your tattoo. Keep in mind it is tradition for the artist to get the award to display at their shop The person with the tattoo gets bragging rights and in our case a T-Shirt.

How do I signup to compete?
We highly encourage you to signup in advanced using the link above. You may also sign up at the event for an extra $5 service charge.

Why Should I pre-register?
In order to make this an immersive event for the audience we need time to prepare. In person signups must check in and wait for the photographer an hour before the contest judging starts. When you register in advanced you only need to check in 10min prior to judging and you get to choose the photo you want to show the audience. We also charge a $5 service fee for walk in signups due to the additional manpower this takes. Pre-registration makes it easier for everybody and helps make the event run smoothly.

What is considered small vs large tattoo?
Small tattoos will be 6"x6" or less. Anything larger would be considered large.

Does the tattoo need to be healed?
With the exception of Best of Day and Best of Show all tattoos need to be fully healed

How does Best of Day and Best of Show work?
All tattoos in this category need to be completed start to finish at the event. Best of day will have till the end of the day while best of show will continue both days. You will be allowed to bring your canvas in with you an hour before the doors open and will be able to start soon as inspection is complete. By preregistering we will do what we can to give you priority in the inspection process. You will need to be at the contest area next to the stage 10min prior to judging.

How will I know if I won?
Winners will be announced twice a day after the entertainment performances. You will want to be near the stage and ready for prizes and pictures.

How are the tattoos being judged?
We have a panel of three judges that will critique each tattoo. They will be looking at the design, composition, placement, linework, color, shading, cleanliness, and overall execution.

Austin Rose - @austin_rose_ta2 - Ink Master Angels season 2 winner, Ink Master season 11 competitor, Ink Master Grudge Match season 1 competitor. Owner of A.R.T (Austin Rose Tattoo)

New York - @tattoosby.newyork - Owner of Dying Wish Tattoo. New York is well known for creating large scale geometric and ornamental tattoos that form to the flow of the body.

Jaco A - @jacoabarca - Artist at Slave to the Needle, Jaco is well known for large scale traditional Japanese with over 20 years of experience.
