Attendee  FAQ

Can I get a tattoo at the event?

Most definitely. Your best bet is to contact the artist directly from our Featured Artists page. All appointments are booked directly with the artist. There will be plenty of artists leaving time open for new clients or flash tattoos as well.

Where can I get tickets?

You can skip the line by getting tickets in advance HERE or you may purchase tickets at the door.

Is this a family friendly event?

Between the circus acts, airbrush tattoos, and henna artists the kids will not be bored however, this is a tattoo expo. People are getting tattooed on site for all to see. If they can handle all that entails then everybody will have a good time.

What can I expect from the contest?

You can expect to see some of the greatest tattoos around. These tattoos will be projected larger than life above the bar. Our panel of judges will critique the tattoos live and on the big screen. Each hour is a different contest (see schedule) with awards being given twice a day after the performances.  Check out the Contest page for addition FAQ

What do you mean “Roaming Circus Acts”?

Throughout the day, the Tacoma Tattoo Expo will feature spontaneous performances in the aisles. Many of the artists showcased on stage will also perform solo acts up close, giving attendees a chance to experience their talent in a more personal setting.

These performances are unscheduled and happen organically, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere. Beyond the aerialists and belly dancers, guests may encounter stilt walkers, balancing acts, and other surprise entertainers. You never know what you’ll discover just around the corner.

Is Parking Availible?

We recommend parking at the Tacoma Dome Station and taking the light rail to the building. It's a short trip and the parking is free. A day pass for the rail will cost $4, but will allow you to explore some of the greatest parts of Tacoma without the hassle of driving. If you would prefer to park at the convention center you can get all the info Here

What public transportation is availible?

The Tacoma Dome Station is host to Amtrak and Sounder trains as well as a regional hub for Pierce Transit, Sound Transit, and Intercity. The light rail will take you from the station to the convention center in just 3 stops.

Is there a bar?

Yes we will have a full stage-side bar and food available. Alcohol will be limited to the bar area.
